Our Story

Aina Studios began with a simple idea: jewelry can be a mirror, a reflection of who you are and who you’re becoming. Born from a love of nature’s raw beauty and the layered complexity of identity, each piece is crafted with intention to express your story—your culture, your emotions, your evolution.

At Aina Studios, jewelry is more than adornment; it’s a companion on your journey of transformation. Whether your spirit shines with boldness or moves with quiet grace, Aina Studios invites you to wear your truth, embrace your growth, and let your story unfold with strength and authenticity.

Hi, I'm Aishna, the founder of Aina Studios!

I was born in India, raised in Japan, and now call New York City my home. Each place shaped me, sometimes in ways I resisted and eventually in ways I embraced.

In Japan, I spent years trying to fit in, often downplaying my Indian identity to blend into the world around me. But after moving to the melting pot of New York City, I began to see the power of standing out. I realized that each version of me—Japanese-raised, Indian-rooted, globally curious—wasn’t a contradiction but a layered story worth embracing.

My parents moved to Japan in 1995, where my father built his company, Beautiful Diamond Co. Ltd., from scratch. I grew up watching them adapt to a new culture while creating something of their own. Though my father hoped I’d follow in his footsteps, loose diamonds never felt like enough of a canvas for my creativity.

Aina Studios became that canvas. It’s where I blend the intentionality, subtlety, and minimalism I inherited from Japanese culture with the warmth, vibrance, and storytelling spirit of my Indian roots. I’m building Aina Studios in New York, a city that celebrates both contrast and connection.

This isn’t just a brand. It’s my way of learning what it means to build something from the ground up, just as my parents did. It’s about nurturing something meaningful, honest, and entirely my own. Aina Studios is a community that celebrates identity, transformation, and self-expression. It’s for those who are still becoming, and unafraid to be seen.
